I’m sure that “mommy advice” dates back to the Garden of Eden and all, but we’re getting a little out of hand– don’t you think? What’s a new mom to do when she’s given 6 completely contradictory opinions about how to do every-THING? Rather than feeling prepared and supported, new moms often feel judged and end up trying to figure it all out on their own.
Following the outrage against Starbucks’ red holiday cups that was fueled by a viral video urging Christians to actively offend Starbucks by asking baristas to write “Merry Christmas” on cups, and the outrage at the outrage, and the outrage at the outrage at the outrage, etc, I decided we might benefit from actively changing the subject to issues in the world that actually deserve our attention.
