Hi there, friend. I just want you to know that I see you and I’m here with you tonight. Whether the house is quiet and you’re alone with your thoughts, worries, and fears, or you’re giving your new baby a midnight feeding, or you’re tending to a sick child– you’re most likely bearing it alone right about now. Maybe all of the heaviness of your day is weighing down on you. Perhaps all of your realities— good and bad— become more real than ever in the wee hours of the night.

Being a woman can be truly lonely at times. In a social setting, we are often chatty, full of life, and seemingly happy, but it’s times like this that reveal the truth of our hearts.

I want you to know that it’s going to be OK. I don’t know how and I don’t know when… but I know from experience that God always comes through for His kids when they put their trust in Him. He loves you without end and He sees you right this very second. Did you know that Jesus knows you so intimately that He knows exactly how many hairs are on your head (Matt 10:30) and collects all of your tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8)? I pray that you can receive these truths in your heart of hearts right now.

I want you to know that you’re not alone. For starters, your God never slumbers nor sleeps and is standing watch over you. He’s just waiting for you to quiet your heart long enough to hear what He has to say.

And if that’s not enough, thousands of women are holding a similar vigil to yours right now. I think we are often ‘together’ much more than we realize.

My Spiritual Mama always says that the best way to battle the enemy (or even our flesh) when worry, heaviness, and sadness take hold, is to pray for someone else that we’re not emotionally involved with. So tonight, rather than letting all the “what ifs” get the best of us, let’s pray for the other women who are struggling right now, too. Let’s lift each other up, kick the enemy in the pants, and be there for each other in the most powerful way possible. I’m here praying for you, and if you want to put a prayer request in the comments, I’d be honored to pray for you specifically! The wonderful women who are part of this community will surely lift you up as well. <3

Precious Blessings Sweet Friend!

Before you go, let me pray for you:

Father God, I lift up all of the women who lie awake tonight. I ask that they would feel your presence in a tangible way. I ask that you would speak to them in the middle of their heaviness. Lord, please send ministering angels to each and every one of them right now. Draw them to your heart wherever they are. Meet them at the place of their greatest need. Bring them the resources that you have provided in answer to their prayers. And Lord, may your peace fall like a soft, warm blanket over them tonight, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
