One of my core values is to work on becoming a better version of me every single day. I believe the only thing I can control in this world is me— and strengthening my character, emotional intelligence, and self-control are my ongoing responsibility. Here are some of my favorite personal growth tools that I revisit often to sharpen myself. I recommend them all the time and I believe they will help you, too.

To start– here are a few books that almost everyone could benefit from!

           

I have found that these books have helped me in life just as much as business. The are both motivational and practical.

               

These two are great for bettering understanding the heart of a man and a woman. They will shed light on yourself and on those in your lives: (also great for marriage!)

        

 

I consider these books a cross between spiritual development and personal development.

There is no book I recommend more often than “Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer. If you struggle with thought patterns that are overwhelming, cause you to worry, or that you struggle to control– this is an excellent resource. “Crash the Chatterbox” by Steven Furtick is also great and a bit more updated– but I still prefer “Battlefield of the Mind.”
