Maybe it’s just me… but sometimes the scathing and derogatory comments made about believers strike my ego the wrong way. The suggestion that we’re uneducated, or ignorant, or buffoons just kind of grates on my old tendency to be an approval addict. On a bad day, it has been known to make me question my faith.

A few weeks ago- out of nowhere- I started having mini panic attacks. I’ve never had a problem with them before and I never knew how hard they were to contend with. On a tiny level today— I want to say that I understand what you’re going through. They are ROUGH. It was a battle to shut them down.

I began my marriage as a very controlling wife. Seriously. It was my way or the highway. I never thought I’d be like that. In fact, I’d always judged other women who were controlling and thought they were nuts.
Isn’t it funny how we hate the parts of other people that we most fear are part of us?
