War Room Will Ignite Your Faith and Encourage You in Every Area of Life

It’s easy to look around at the world today and see a disregard for God and a disdain for those who follow Him. People who have not met Him face to face can’t begin to understand why we believe in Him at all costs and commit our very lives to Him. At times it can be an isolating life and you wonder how people can have such vastly different experiences. I learned a long time ago to pray for those who would criticize my faith, and spend lots of time around people, places, and resources that build it up. Despite all the anti-God rhetoric out there, God is powerfully at work in this generation. We can choose to focus on all the places where God is not being honored, or we can focus our energy on the places where He is magnified and celebrated. Christian film has become a beacon of hope and a mighty pillar of the church in our culture.

From the moment I heard that Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore were going to be in a movie, I KNEW that I would see it and own it. When I found out that the movie would be a battle cry to raise up prayer warriors, I praised God and wept. This is exactly what we need.

“…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14

We live in a culture that fights with weapons of steel and words of bitterness and hatred. The war rages on and no one ever wins. What if we fought on our knees with purity of heart and whispered blessings instead?

As someone who almost lost my own marriage 5 years ago to severe offenses by both parties, I learned the power of crying out to God, humbling myself, and prayer. I had exhausted everything I could have done in the natural, but turning my focus on God and His Word changed everything. Those who have lost the spark in their marriage, or are even contemplating divorce, should see this film. War Room will ignite your faith and encourage you in EVERY area of life.

The secular reviews for this film don’t surprise me one bit. The ways of Jesus are foolishness to someone who does not believe, just as He told us they would be:

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. -1 Corinthians 1:18

However, if the spirit of God is dwelling inside of you, this film will touch you unlike any other perhaps since God’s Not Dead. I cannot encourage you enough to see it and see it soon. Your 2016 will be changes by it.
